Album of the month

After their excellent debut album (Domus Mundi), Hollenthon is back with their new work, With Vilest Of Worms To Dwell. Hollenthon has impressed all Europe with their first CD (excellent song-writing) and I was impatient to see (to hear) if the first feat was a coincidence or if this is the birth of a cult band.

I don't know if I will find the right words to describe you this masterpiece .... because masterpiece is a too ridiculous word to described this magnificent death/dark opera. The orchestration is perfect and the song-writing must be considered as one of the best performance EVER done by a metal band.

Imagine wonderful chorus in the back (like an opera), imagine an epico-classico atmosphere, imagine melodic guitars riffs flowing from everywhere and imagine a black/dark voice hunting you from the first second 'till the end of this magical opera creating a new orchestral dimension. Well, stop to imagine and run to the nearest CD vendor, because Hollenthon MADE it. The production is a perfection, helping the band to create this atmosphere.

I thought that Rage XIII was perfect, but here this is bigger, better, enormous. Just listen to track 4, To Kingdom Come, and you will understand what I mean. This CD must be in your metal collection. There was Therion, Rage and Blind Guardian (epic songs) and now there is Hollenthon.

Metal is marvelous, but here we are talking of the sword of the God ...

Killing Songs :
The whole record is a killer, an alien opera !!!
