Our 4 messengers from Geneva (sorry Neptune ;)) are back with their 3 titles single which is aimed only at the promotion of the band. Even thought already excellent from their first 7 titles CD Sephiroth, Rain managed to improve their sound once more to attain crystal clear and always more powerful production.

Still shopping for labels, the band deliver a very nice single. I certainly hope that they will finaly find a label, because their "Ice Metal" is really cool, with mainly a Samael influence, the band is able to deliver a very good balance between melodic electronic Dark Metal (what they call Ice Metal). Sins vocals have improved, it seems he ate a lion lately, as his growls are darker and deeper than ever before. Also interesting are the nice apparition of clear vocals during some moments. The single contains 3 songs that perfectly paints the picture of this band, alterning slow (breaks) and fast moments.

The 3 songs contained in the single will find their place in their forthcoming album already entitled : Starlight Exctinction. A title album that already announces a powerful opus. Be sure to check out these songs at Rain's website. Very good !
