Well, this is a pleasant surprise! An English Death Metal band that – despite a questionable haircut in the promotional pictures – are far from the sheeplike dirge of the Deathcore masses and instead seek only to create as noisy and brutal a racket as they can! OK, so there are similarities; Evisorax have that Suffocation-on-crack sound at their base, but once you’ve heard the technical depths of Enclave the differences are clear. These three Wigan lads clearly love the Death Metal sound at its harshest, and after a few demos and now this EP are clearly ready to go for the big time and release an album chock-full of Jazzed-up and spazzed-out riffs, blasting drums and breakdowns that will dislocate the limbs of any moshing MySpacer foolish enough to try hardcore dancing to it.

With plenty of live experience, having played with everyone from Despised Icon to The Berzerker via Beneath The Massacre and Misery Index, Evisorax have refined their style until they’re ready to play the big league. One listen to Scalp The Demons’ sickening technicality or Insidious’ Grinding madness and you’ll agree; this band deserve much more exposure. Here’s hoping they receive it.
