Raised Fist is back. After their MCD You're Not Like Me and their full risft record Fuel, here comes Ignoring The Guidelines, which can be described as another typical hardcore record. I guess fans of hardcore will again appreciate this one, but as you know I am still waiting something fresh out of the extreme metal scene (just listen to The Forsacken Mnifest Of Hate - review coming soon - and you will understand what I am meaning).

It is not a bad record, but for me this is a Machine Head hardcore band, where the difference lies only in the vocals (they are much more aggressive, quite logical for an hardcore band). The music is really heavy, thrashy and even speedy on some parts, but Raised Fist is more attracted by the punk style, as classical metal is less prominent and seems to fade away on Ignoring The Guidlines.

If you like hardcore andcheck this one, but sorry guys there are many better albums around these days.

Last but not least, isn't it short 27 minutes for a record?
