At least here comes a band that doesn't follow any trend. A mixture of heavy and neo metal (somehow RATM meets old Rage). The production is crystal clear : what a sound ! James Santiago has an excellent voice which goes perfectly to this "chaos". You will need many "plays" to really appreciate this metal style. From heavy double bass, through atmospheric Paradise Lost breaks, 40 Grit doesn't follow the usual path (riff, bridge & chorus). Thashy and atmospheric !

I have discovered many sound on this Heads (may be too much to digest them) and I can say 40 Grit mixes lots of different atmospheres (neo, heavy, trash metal ... the American way). If you are into this kind of music I suggest you check it out. You might be surprise by what you're going to hear.
