Second album for Sinergy. True Metal band which finally found a stable layout. Kimberly Goss, the singer (ex background singer for Therion) released her second album with her boyfriend Alexi Laiho (yes... Children Of Bodom lead genius !). For all of you who have the first album I'm warning you right now : it's not the same anymore. In interviews Goss said that they would be making an album about music they like and which belongs to the past, 80's and begining of 90's. And this is somehow the case, it's heavy metal with some power metal elements then and there, like the killing riffs/melodies/solos that only Laiho can play. Sometimes the begining of some of the songs even reminds me Children Of Bodom.

Like for the first release, Kimberly's voice is really nice and add a strong power / atmosphere to this excellent band. The album has an impeccable production.

In the end this is a very nice release, it's really music from the past but with today's sound and feel, and somehow that makes it damn original. I recommand this album to every heavy metal fan and of course all Sinergy's fans.
