It's technical Swedish Death Metal ala Entombed's Left Hand Path, just not as good. It's an excellent album IMHO, but don't expect Black Metal, for it's far from it.

Zad, I'd get AbitNS and UaFM first then maybe if you like the new ep get Hate Them and Panzerfaust. Soulside Journey is actually no that bad, but it's not like any other Darkthrone.
