Motörhead aren't actually a bunch of virtuosi. Their music (especially the older stuff) isn't that much better than Venom in terms of musicianship.

Sure, Venom's old albums are sloppy as hell. That's part of the appeal. I, for one, like the punky edge.

You think so? I find it far better. And why do people like punky netal but not like real, good punk?

I listen to real good punk too, but 'punky metal' will always be no.1. Why ? because metal is the best fucken music genre out there !

Fuck intricate guitarwork and structures, metal is an expression. Venom is still x666 more black METAL than all the forest viking trolls out there ! Of course there any many bands that supersede Venom today....

Then,you have to agree Stratovarius,DragonForce and Rhapsody are not metal at all.

Handel sounds much more regal than Limp Bizkit,more like vintage Queen. :lol:

Somehow,i have to agree;Eddie Fast Clarke and Brian Robertson are very fine axemen;i wouldn't go that far for Phil Campbel and Wurzel.
