I remember that in the review on this site, the genre was set to Dark Metal. As I didn't hear any dark metal at all, what genre is Evergay anyways?

Some call them Dark Progressive Metal.

I like Evergrey they're heavy and Tom's voice although not quite the range as Halford fits the music quite well and he has a very good emotional voice to his tone.

What the hell does Halford have to do with this. Jesus Christ.

If I liked Evergrey I'd probably be offended at the mention.

I'm saying that he might not have a high range like Halford but his range fits the music for crying out loud

Speaking of crying out loud, Tom is a very emotional singer. In that aspect he kinda reminds me of Matt Barlow. Obviously there are lots of differences between them but they both really let the emotion shine through.

You made it sound as if there were actually some point to the comparison, like some people don't listen to Evergrey because Tom Englund doesn't have the same range as Halford. Halford sucks anyway, a lot of good that range does him when can't even control most of it and has that awful voice.

And holy shit, that Englund character is one ugly dude. Christ above.

Yes he is and the point I was trying to make is that what he lacks in the higher ranges he makes up for his emotional tone.

I picked Halford as an example maybe I should have picked Heiman but I'm hoping that people get the legits of what I'm saying if not then oh well.
