Prong - Prove You Wrong

This album (the next one is debatable due to the timing) is where I get the motivation for Machine Head discussions.. I believe they derived a lot of their sound from Prong. Aspects of vocal delivery, guitar squeal, slight groove in the riffs, bass sound and position of bass in the mix. Of course MH has a more modern sounding production and is thrashier overall, but I definately see it.

Funeral Mist - Salvation

I'm viciously possessed by this monumental album!

Non fuckin' stop for weeks and weeks!

Piece by piece, come ye forth
Ye angels of ecstasy/demons of revelation
To unmask the innermost face of the world unuttered
To reveal the harloty of JHVH

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgh!!!

Salvation makes me remember why I bleed for Black Metal...

Jeremy Vine does an interesting show at lunch time.

Next up: Probably that Horna album that starts with the word "Envtnaags" or something. Good album, but I can't work the name out....

Do you enjoy punk-hardcore? If not then you may never be able to enjoy this one either... Of course, there is an exception to every rule.

The Misfits, The Ramones, Bad Brains and a few other punk bands. It's just, there doesn't seem to be anything really trhat good about this-can anyone enlighten me without delving into the argument of 'it was the first grincore album'?
