Ugh, yeah... But it still looks just like a (BAD) version of the original. I would have much rather had a new take/view of the cover than this cheap collage. Some ppl complained about the Tribuzy and new Bodom covers when they were announced, where are those ppl now?! Or anyone with an eye/knowledge of graphical design?!

Bah, I say! Bah! :)

I'd bet more people would be upset if the cover didn't look like the original.

I could care less either way I mean a cover is a cover I only care about the music inside that's where it matters.

As the old saying goes never judge a book(or in this case an album)by it's cover.

i agree, the same with lyrics they can suck as much as they want so long as the songs are good. Good album covers, brilliant lyrics, hot bandmembers(female in my case) are just good bonuses.

Yep the lyrics can suck and I will still listen to it and maybe even sing along.Hell I listen to Hammerfall and Rhapsody and those lyrics are cheesy as hell but I still like the songs because it's catchy and got good melodies.I don't pay attention to that shit I judge an album on how good the songs sound not the lyrics,covers or even band members and like you said it's a bonus if the cover and lyrics are very good.

But the lyrics need to be good here. I mean, they're very important to this album.

As a graphic artist, I have to say, that took a whole five minutes to do.

Yep, but someone paid the dude. And also, in 1989 it wasn't so easy to do something like that, so if they wanted to keep the covers similar, by today's standards it just doesn't compare.

That's why I said "It's ok that they liked to keep the original style, but..." Image

I do actually agree with people, ya know? What I am saying is that it is obvious the band wanted to visually connect the two albums, which is understable since it's a sequel. An artist like Travis Smith would have done an awesome cover, but then something like that would likely almost separate the album from the original and you don't want to alienate the first part from the second.

So they get the original artist to do the cover in the same style as the original, which is a style that by today's standard is very basic. Thus judging it based on those standards is not going to compare. But I think it serves its purpose. It's exactly what it is meant to be.

I could live without the stupid tongue pic on both sides, but whatever...

It looks like they were trying to reproduce digitally something that was originally done with more traditional means and something was lost in the translation, i.e. 'style'.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?! (Slater/Stone/Tate), over and over again. What the hell is that there so much for? "The Hands" had me interested again, but now I'm back to thinking it's going to be a letdown. This is ridiculous. It might as well be another Geoff Tate solo album! :evil:

QUEENSRŸCHE tribute site The Breakdown Room has published what are purported to be the complete songwriting credits for the group's upcoming sequel to their platinum 1988 concept album "Operation: Mindcrime", entitled "Operation: Mindcrime II". The credits — as apparently picked up from the American performing rights organization BMI — are as follows:

01. Freiheit Ouvertüre (1:36) (Jackson/Slater/Stone)
02. Convict (0:08 )
03. I'm American (2:53) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
04. One Foot In Hell (4:13) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
05. Hostage (4:30) (Jackson/Tate/Wilton)
06. The Hands (4:37) (Slater/Tate/Wilton)
07. Speed Of Light (3:12) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
08. Signs Say Go (3:17) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
09. Re-arrange You (3:11) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
10. The Chase (3:10) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
11. Murderer? (4:34) (Slater/Tate/Wilton)
12. Circles (2:59) (Jackson/Slater/Tate)
13. If I Could Change It All (4:28 ) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
14. An Intentional Confrontation (2:32) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
15. A Junkie's Blues (3:42) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
16. Fear City Slide (4:58 ) (Slater/Stone/Tate)
17. All The Promises (5:11) (Slater/Stone/Tate)

Slater = Jason Slater (co-producer of the album)
Stone = Mike Stone (guitars/vocals)
Wilton = Michael Wilton (guitars/vocals)
Tate = Geoff Tate (vocals)
Jackson = Ed Jackson (bass/vocals)

As previously reported, QUEENSRŸCHE's new single, "I'm American", will be available to radio stations for digital download on February 21. The full-length record will go for adds in March. The North American release date of the sequel to their platinum 1988 concept album "Operation: Mindcrime" has been set for April 4. Legendary heavy metal vocalist Ronnie James Dio (BLACK SABBATH, DIO, RAINBOW) makes a guest appearance on the album as "Dr. X".
