What a terrible soundtrack.

It is. It sucks, actually. The only other good song on there is the Chester Bennington song, it's further proof that if there was ever an Alice In Chains reunion he should be the singer.

That's not the album cover I would have imagined...

Wow what an utterly gash album cover. I hate shit like that (the last Labyrinth album for instance).

It's supposed to be a mix of the spiritualistic (karma) and the modern (code).
But as you said, it's total shit.

Its that whole pseudo-spiritual crossed with hackneyed would-be dystopian imagery that does my head in. See also the second-to-last Arch Enemy album.

I suppose it's better than the "sitting in a forest glade covered in leaves and a load of green-gold paint" bullshit from In a Reverie.

Hmm...I like it. A bit too polished, they could have made it a little dirtier, but I think it's cool.

Here's the artwork for the reissue of In A Reverie, probably their best:

It's pretty lame, though. There are no extra tracks, just new artwork and "desktop bonuses." What the fuck is the point?

I guess it's because the original "In A Reverie" had shit distribution, despite being on Century Media. It took my local shop 6 months to get it in after I special ordered it. The other albums only took 2 weeks. Plus, sometimes even the EP randomly pops up on the shelf, but I've never seen that happen with In A Reverie.

LACUNA COIL's new album, "Karmacode" (cover), due on April 4 via Century Media Records, features a cover of the DEPECHE MODE track "Enjoy the Silence" as the CD's closing cut. The highly anticipated follow-up to the group's acclaimed commercial breakthrough album, "Comalies", was produced by Waldemar Sorychta and LACUNA COIL in Germany and Italy while the album was both mixed by Ronald Prent (RAMMSTEIN, H.I.M., IRON MAIDEN) and mastered by Darcy Proper (STEELY DAN, PORCUPINE TREE, R.E.M.) at Galaxy Studios in Belgium. A video for the album's first single, "Our Truth", has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was shot in Los Angeles by Fort Awesome, a brand-new directorial duo whose individual credits include QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, LINKIN PARK, DISTURBED, CHEVELLE and more. Look for it to make its Fuse and MTV2 debut in mid-March.

Due in Europe on March 6, the "Our Truth" single will be available in three formats. The regular CD will include "Our Truth" and an acoustic version of "Unspoken". There will also be a digipack version of the single featuring "Our Truth", "Swamped", a remix of "Our Truth" and a brand-new non-LP track, "Without a Reason". The final version will be a double-sided picture disc containing "Our Truth" and "Without a Reason". In the U.K. the single will be released March 13 while digital release across all major legal download platforms is set for March 3.

LACUNA COIL will be teaming up with ROB ZOMBIE for a North American tour beginning in mid-March.

That's weird cover art.

And the song...hmmm...I don't like her vocals in the verse bit, too whiny, although the "arrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaa" bit at the start was ok.

Not dreadful, not amazing. And surely the 'we're in a snowstorm' thing's been done before in vids?

Edit: and I don't like that red make-up on her eyes. Looks like she's been beaten...
