lol that song is horrible. they need to be on the next space shuttle off the planet along with fear factory. in space, no-one can hear you cover U2.

this is why I'm moving away from aggressive music.. all those bands try to outdo themselves in terms of speed and aggression and just end up outdoing themselves in terms of mindlessness and find themselves covering each other. or else they replace the challenging elements of metal with pandering groove. and that makes the expected quality level of thrash or melocrap or xcore drop so low that it gets to the point where people call Burn my Eyes a classic. sod that. it's incestual and delusional.

if their next album gets over 49/100 here then I'm just going to start foaming at the mouth.

back to doom, I think, those bands show a few signs of maturity.

doom bands just try to be slower than eachother :P

seriously though, compared to the songs off the likes of BNR and Arise, this is crap.

all in all Derek is trying too hard (he sounds angry allright, but max was better), Sepultura sound more hardcore than metal, and Igor is still kicking ass on the drums.

not a release i look forward to, sadly :<

Well looks like the new Soulfly will be far superior to the new Sepultura.

It's funny, I found the new Soulfly to sound very much like Sepultura. I found this demo to sound very much like Soulfly! Hahaha.

The hell?

And Derek's really trying to sound like Max, isn't he?

I've certainly heard worse but overall, Meh. Igor Calavera is still an awesome drummer. And Derrick has improved as a vocalist (although he is certainly no Max). On the other hand, the guitar tunings are too low and it just sounds like Sepultura's made little progression since Roots (I don't care what anybody else says, I love that album). Coincidentally, that probably has a lot to do with why nobody's given a damn about the band since Max left.

that at least is on theme.. the upcoming album is meant to be about the circles of hell as envisioned in dante's inferno. dis plays a role.

also, dis was the final level on doom where you met the spider mastermind! :D

Well, it is a demo so maybe that will change.
