 Post subject: What should I get?

All for 10-12 €. Tell me what I should get. I am NOT a fan of Darkthrone clones (no, not even good ones). I'm also not too fond of "free BM" like Woods of Infinity, or other minimalistic stuff.

There's an awful lot of bands there that I'm not familiar with, but I can guarantee that Trollfest are great.

There's a lot of those bands that I don't know beyond their names. But Wyrd - Rota is a treat that no one should miss.

Could you give me some well-known bands similar to those?

Yes, I admit, I am a noob.

Try:

1. Wyrd - Vargtimmen Part II
2. Nocternity - Onyx
3. Wyrd - Rota
4. Bilskirnir - In Flames of Purification
5. Kawir - Arai
And a bonus one 8) :
6. Nattvindes Gråt - A Bard's Tale (this is hardly BM, but still worth checking out)

You can also try:

Argar - Grim March to Black Eternity;
Forefather - Legends Untold;
Kawir - Epoptia;
Nocternity - En Oria + Crucify Him
Nocternity - A Fallen Unicorn;
Wyrd - Wrath & Revenge;

Don't try:
Azure, Noctivagus, Azaghal/Beheaded Lamb split, Gorbalrog, Geїst (the last one is good, but it's BM you won't like, I suppose)

Don't know about the rest. Hope that helped you somehow.

Concerning Wyrd - Rota

I can't come up with an especially accurate comparison. But I can tell you that it's high quality folk-black. Some of the clean vocals takes a couple of spins to 'get used to' (at least for me) but it is still a solid record. It isn't an especially 'hard' listen (which may add or detract depending on your preferences). Even my power metal-loving girlfriend likes it.

Great reommendations there, take heed.

I have the Hellbound/Amestigon split, and I think it's very good.

I think Horna are pretty good, but I'm not familiar with that album.

It's a great one, but the first two are better.

You can also try some Tom Waits(maybe you'll like Bone Machine) although it's not in your list!
