As for this being metalcore and amatuerish, I don't know. I don't think it really sound metalcore. And this band is evolving over time, they're not going to be technically amazing right away, especially coming from their beginnings as a simple nu-metal band. It's only been a few years since then, they've come a long way.

If they were a bunch of ugly guys nobody would care.

If they were a bunch of ugly guys and never released Spit they'd be given a lot more credit.

To be honest, I know everyone here hates them, but I still feel like this band will someday be a great band. This clip, to me, is just further proof that they're slowly getting there. Too bad the drummer couldnt' quit or get fired, she's still pretty boring.

No, that's incorrect. Mainstream has nothing to do with it. I like good music, I listen to music in all kinds of genres, thus I find myself at odds with people quite often. I don't care if it's mainstream or underground, there are good bands in all areas of music. If I think they're good, damn right I'll say so!

With that said, I never said Kittie was amazing or anything.
