when you used dial-up with a 56k modem, did you ever dance or headbang to the fritched dial tone?

Punish your brain with Wolf Eyes or Merzbow, not Melt Banana.

Why stab yourself in the ear with an icepick... when you can stab yourself in the ear with a spiked icepick?

Go gourmet, Zad.

Sure Wolf Eyes and Merzbow may punish your ears harder than MB, but MB are a very nice, unique band in their own right. They are funny, for a start. If you want to icepick yourself in the ears, you might as well let someone with a sense of humour do it.

But, Zad, if you've never heard them, they have more in common with spazz-grind bands like the Locust than they do noise/drone. In fact, they sound a bit like The Locust being covered by the cast of Street Fighter II

I heard a track by them yesterday, awesome stuff! Thanks for the reminder, I'll hunt 'em down.

And Rio, of course I've heard them! This must be the only forum I've ever been to where people don't answer your question but instead suggest better alternatives out of pure concern. I love you guys.

yeah, that's us. last year I heard some Autechre. now I can only get a musical high from dentist's drills.

what the fuck? these people don't even know what's good for them. Mothers of the World! Prevent your children from hearing challenging music with something to say!

edit: hrm, maybe I self-owned. looking at their forum it might be a parody.
