Glad you had fun Marty. I didn't even get to see half of the show. I don't listen to much radio, so I missed their advertisements that said when they were going to be here. Oh well, there's always next year.

I've seen them three times, but miss them this year! The show is AMAZING! I always find it funny to see such a diverse group of people there, like 75 year old men and woman just diggin' on it...but would they ever step foot in a Savatage show? Noooooooooooooooo! Hahaha. Hilarious.

Was John Oliva there as well? I would think he would be also touring with the band. :?

I heard they split up to do more shows. Like Caffery does this half and Olivia does that half. Does that make sense? :?

Yeah, apparently there are two touring bands. Like one will tour the east coast, the other the west. Chris leads one, Jon the other.

I saw it twice, and I think most of it was the same show, I expected different set...

It's a very set specific show, more like a broadway show.

TSO fucking rules! I've been to three concerts so far and I've never had more fun at a live event. As stated, the diversity of the audience is amazing, everything from little kids to 80-year-old grandmothers, from torn blue jeans and black rock shirts to tuxedos! Great fun, great show.

There are two tours, east and west. I guess Caffery MCs the east tour (Jon only appears occasionally for cameos) with Jeff Plate while Al Pitrelli MCs my west tour with Johnny Lee.

Marty, I'm glad you at least got to see half the show, I guess you'll be going back next year and get there early?? Loved your review, our musical tastes run in the same vein. I watch all your reviews closely.
