musically great
vocals on the other hand dont get my great vote, thank god the music is amazing to make up for it, because most of the time i dont even notice the "what personaly feel are" shitty vocals

Why everyone goes on about the "shitty hardcore" vocals is beyond me. Anyone who's ever listened to sludge knows that Mastodon's vocals are typical sludgey ones. Sure, it may have evolved from hardcore origionally but they're a far cry from the modern shitcore we have to put up with.
