As usual, you're the bigger man. Sorry.

Uh, s'allright.

So... Eyesore was right. Crown Royal is boring. So boring.

Glad I didn't pay money for it.

Yep. It's not a Run DMC album. DMC is only on three songs, and they're all old samples of him, so technically he's not even on the album. The song "Crown Royal" is probably the only good song on the CD. The rest are ridiculous pop-rap/rock collaborations and then other pseudo-gangsta tracks. Very disappointing.

Without DMC, how do you justify this cover?

Well, it was clearly designed to lure people in. DMC in the forefront, yet doesn't really appear on the album! Weird. Likely it was a label's attempt at cashing in, have you seen Run's House on MTV? I don't think Run needed the money. And with Russell Simmons as your brother, I can't imagine Run needing any more money...ever.

I've always liked RunDMC myself. I used to listen to some Public Enemy and Naughty By Nature, though I never really followed them beyond their really big Mtv albums.

The Beastie Boys never really did anything for me... they are quirky and have a really good sense of humor, but I never got into the music.

My roommate in college tried to get me into the Wu Tang Clan, and I just couldn't get into it. They don't follow the beat in their songs (at least on the Killer Bees album) and it really pisses me off... they seem like they spend so much time making this really good beat, and then rap to a totally different song in their heads.

I really liked the Onyx / Biohazard collaboration when they did the song "Slam". I think it's one of the few times that rap and metal really meshed well together.

The Judgement Night soundtrack is a great CD for rap/metal mixes.

Yeah I heard that too, although I didn't like anything other than the Slayer ft. Ice-T song...

Jurassic 5 owns all, big time. The self-titled album rawwkks! Concrete Schoolyard is the best raptune ever, damn it!

Public Enemy is also good, of course, as is Eric B & Rakim. The old school eighties beats the new MTV-rap crop to the mud in a nanosecond.

Dr. Dre also did some awesome stuff with Snoop, Ice Cube and Tupac. Just off the top of the cuff...Natural Born Killaz, California Love, Nuthin but a G thang...some damn good grooves and basslines. Funky, isay. FUNKY!!!

Then Dre also had to go into the bullshit "clapclap"-dealy with Fiddy Cent and their ilk.....ugh, horrible. No groove at all.
