I hold the Sex Pistols in the same regard as Motley Crue, they fucking suck! And they both got famous for the same kind of reasons-'cept I'd take the Crue over the sex pistols every time.

I disagree with this... To me their music is everything that this type of thing should be: On the one hand the vocal delivery and guitar tone (at the time) were disturbing enough to be thoroughly radical, but the riffs and melodies on the album are so accessible and memeorable... That record still sounds very fresh today.

Swore a lot on primetime TV... Wore swastika T-Shirts... Hired a boat and sailed down the Thames on the Queens silver jubilee calling her a "fascist"... Quite possibly commited murder... They did a lot of things!

This topic's been brought up several times already. But anyway, by now you all know I'm a big Bad Religion fan. Other punk bands I like include Black Flag, the Suicide Machines' debut, Less Than Jake, old Offspring, Green Day (fuck you!), etc. Yeah, I know these are the more mainstream punk bands. Certainly, none of the bands on Li'l Punx Records.
