Allrighty then!! Just got another delivery of blasphemy through mail. And this time received the following:

Ildjarn - Forest Poetry CD
Devilry/Ravening - Split 7"
Drudkh -Autumn Aurora LP
Nokturnal Mortum - NeChrist 2LP
Nunslaughter - Hate Your God LP

and there is still 3 more deliveries on their way to me! Hell yeah!!!

Though, I'm bit worried. I'm not sure if Nokturnal Mortum is my cup of tea. Hope I didn't waste my money with that......

Daniel, as I said with Heaven in Flames, this better be as good as you say it is. But I bet, as with Heaven in Flames, I will be blown away.

Indeed it is a killer; one of the most original (and weird) sounding Black Metal albums I've heard in a long time; remember to give it time, if you do, you'll be extremely rewarded.

Behemoth "demigod" (I'll give it a go right after I finished Amon Amarth "vs the world" & Battlelore's where the shadows lie)

Unfortunetly, I'll have to cancel that. Moribund is out, though they had the Ulver and Kreig CDs I ordered(I had the burnt versions of them, so I didn't say those earlier)

I'll have to check around to find a place that does.

Yep, I didnt really like that Nokturnal Mortum. And the lyrics didnt really help with that. Maybe this one requires more than one listening though.

Nokturnal Mortum's demo Lunar Poetry is their best, amazing album; I still can't believe it is a demo.

Lunar Poetry was re-released on a CD as a full-length album with a bonustrack 8)

It was a good one, but imo it is only a reflection of what Nokturnal Mortum showed on "Нехристь". It beats even the almighty Grom in my "updated" (since I relistened to Marduk my whole top has changed) top and I think it deserves the title "The Best Slavic BM album".

Together with Operation: Mindcrime it's their best album, imo. And for me they died as a band just after Empire's release.

And yes, I got the remastered version 8)

I don't agree with you about their artistic death after Empire... Promised Land is my favourite album in their discography & Hear in the Now Frontier has its moments... but Empire is great, no doubt about it ! & cool Simon/Garfunkel cover on the remastered edition !

Damn, I love this forum!

Should I have posted something like I did in my last post on one of my native language forums, I would get replies like:

"Fuck you, you son of the bitch! What the shit are you talking about?! Empire sucks, Q2K & Tribe are the best!"

Due to my lack of knowledge in english obscene language, it's just a poor representation of what would've been said

Q2K & Tribe ? seriously ?

Q2K is almost as bad as Metallica's St Anger (yeah, I know it's impossible but that's how much disappointed I am with this album) & though I've listened to it about 10 times, I cannot remember any song on Tribe... are your native country's mates deaf or what ?

anyway, you'll get this kind of unpleasant answers here too but most of the posters here are open minded people which is nice !

I live in a very small country (with only 2,000,000 people living there and about 800,000 of them - in the capitol  )... Latvia, heard anything about it?

And to find here a guy whose into metal, that's a hard one. First, ~90% of the population doesn't listen to metal at all. Then out of those 10% 75% listens to nu-metal, stoner, etc. So we have 5,000 people left. And out of them aprox 1,000 is really into metal (for others BM is Cradle of Filth & Dimmu Borgir; DM is Cannibal Corpse; PM is Manowar and so on). And now imagine what would it be if you would ask them how do they feel about Queensryche... "Who?" :?
And on the forums we have mainly the nu-wave "metalheads".
A sad story...

Ok, I can still visit russian forums, but... there aren't any. There's only two sites with metal reviews. One updates once in two weeks, the other - once in a month (the first one has a forum, but life there is too slow). Others are all long abandoned...

Woods of Infinity - F & L

Good perverse black metal. Definately not for new ones to this genre.
