Hmmm...the page was working a second ago. Not now, though. Anyway, I cannot wait for this album, this clip is excellent!

Can't wait to hear the album. The sample didn't give me much of a clue but I bet the albums gonna rule.

The sample sounds a lot more focused than Viva Emptiness, and reminds me more of Last Fair Deal Gone Down. Interesting indeed.

I wouldn't go that far, but I was impressed with what I heard.

Really? It reminds me Viva Emptiness and not much else. It resembles so much songs like Criminals or Evidence that it makes me wonder if it's not some leftover from that album. Anyway, an album in the same vein can only make me happy, because VE rules supreme.

It definitely reminded me of Last Fair Deal Gone Down or Tonight's Decision material. It's only a 2-minute clip, though, we can't get much out of that. I do find it funny that there's a "You're Now Listening To..." overdub on a 2-minute sample clip! Hahaha.

The only Katatonia album I have heard all the way through and really enjoyed is Brave Murder Day. I literally just heard Viva Emptiness and I thought it was laaaaaaaaaaame.

For Katatonia, I'd start with Brave Murder Day, their last album that could be considered doom. They went for a more gothic sound on their later releases, which are all pretty good.

EDIT: Arrrgh! MetalNESS, you stole my thunder!

Don't listen to MetalNESS. He gots poopie in his pants. Later Katatonia is better than their earlier stuff, I'd say.
