Anyone ever heard the German rap group Funf Sterne Deluxe? I first saw a video of theirs years ago in England. Just once. Well, a while back I found a slip of paper with Funf Sterne Deluxe written on it. I was completely confoozled. I had no idea what it meant.

Anyway, a search online brought me to this band's website and they've apparently broken up. It took me a while to figure out why I'd ever written their name down, I figured it out just the other day when I finally found someone with an MP3 on Soulseek, just the one song. I downloaded it and then I remembered! Hahaha. This was the song I'd heard! It's awesome...and so weird. :D

Here it is:

FUNF STERNE DELUXE - JA, JA...DEINE MUDDER

Wu-Tang Clan (including most of the albums by people with an affiliation to them)

Common (older stuff)
Pharaohe Monch
Black Star
Deltron 3030
Rakim
The Roots (older stuff)

Daniel, I'm not sure either if DJ Shadow is hip hop, but he certainly kicks ass. Have you heard the Six Days Remix with Mos Def? I believe it plays during the movie Phone Booth. Its a great song. DJ Shadow also has a couple of songs with Zack de la Rocha, and they're pretty good too.

I enjoy some Run DMC but I have never actually listened to an album, just random songs. Also Bone Thugs N Harmony had alot of cool songs, I just love the vocals these guys could pull off.

Yeah, Bone Thugs N Harmony definitely had some skill with their raps. Very unique for the genre.

I'd also like to say that Wu-Tang Clan is one of the most overrated rap groups ever. The beats they use are ridiculously weak.

The vocals can get quite annoying, but the music is great.

Well, I guess it's safe to say that he at least works with some Hip Hop elements, but he isn't entirely Hip Hop, no. But yeah, he's a very talented guy.

Blasphemer!!!!

I don't see how they're overrated, they had two popular CD's, then faded into near obscurity next to shit like Lil Jon, Nelly, and other crap like that. What CD's did you listen to before coming to this conclusion?

I've never listened to a full CD, but I've heard all the supposed "hit" songs and then some, they're all crap. Look, I can appreciate good rap, but Wu-Tang are just not that good in my opinion.

I remember once, I stuck my dick in a vacuum cleaner, and MAN, it was great. Until that little blade inside, all steel and chromium sharp, completely mangled my poor cock. Think someone carving that little fucker up with a pair of acid-soaked scissors.

Then, after I got out, I had sex with four goats on a dare. It hurt them, but it felt so good to me...

Dude, you spelled 'edited' wrong. I would never be that careless. Oh, and comically re-edited because I felt like it.

Yeah, yeah, I'm a goddamned moron who shits his bed, and all over my gay lover's chest. By the way, I haven't called my boyfriend for AT LEAST A WEEK, and just so I haven't forgotten, his name starts with A and ends with "Aron." I should really call him. NOW. Seriously. I'll prolly get head if I do.

I'm sure you know by now that basing your opinion of a group off of their popular songs is not always accurate. Try some stuff that wasn't ultra popular, and you may find that its better than you originally gave it credit for:

GZA - Liquid Swords
Raekwon - Only Built for Cuban Linx
Ghostface - Ironman
Inspectah Deck - Uncontrolled Substance
RZA - Bobby Digital

If you still don't like them after that, you probably never will.

Small print - Yeah, because the mistake wasn't part of what made it obvious and funny. Jesus, if you're going to be a fucking baby about it, remind me not to bother anymore.

It was a joke.

Secondly, I take myself too seriously, usually, to laugh at myself.

Thirdly, I apologize. Change it back if you want.

So... Eyesore was right. Crown Royal is boring. So boring.

Glad I didn't pay money for it.
