She also has songs on numerous soundtracks and whatnot:

The Insider (Soundtrack w/Pieter Bourke)

Also check out Brendan Perry's solo album:

The Eye Of The Hunter

both are awesome pieces of work, not as good as DCD's finest but pretty close... :D

sometimes her voice reaches levels of emotion I could only find with the great (and sadly dead) Nurat Fateh Ali Khan or with Billie Holiday.. definitely one of the greatest vocal talents to have ever walked the face of the earth...

Spleen and Ideal is pretty fucking good, my only criticism is that some of the songs could be longer. I hate it when one ends just as I'm really getting into it.

Try Spirit Chaser, if you can find it. I love that album. There were a lot of parts that reminded me of The Doors on that CD, just like weird extended jams. It's my favorite disc.

That's what the repeat button is for.

Spiritchaser isn't as good as S&I. Your next step should be Serpent's Egg.

Yes, master. I normally give it a while before buying another release from the same band, just so I don't compare one to the other too much.

Well, you can't compare any album to the next with this band (not that you were), but Spirit Chaser is a great CD, in my opinion.

Eh. There was a lot of what I would call filler and what other people would call 'extended jams' on that CD. Indus and Devorzhum, for two.

Song of the Nile, Song of the Stars, and The Snake and the Moon were some of the best songs DCD ever wrote, however.

It about balances out.

Well, I liked that filler then! =) I like how they used that same sample that opened the CD on a few songs, sort of tying them all together.

And not to sound perverted, but Spiritchaser is probably the best album to make-a the sweet love to. Of course, I could be delusional because it's been so long I think I've been ordained a virgin again.

I liked that as well. Jesu did a similar thing with their monumental debut album that I love.

Uh, okay, I'll take your word for that. Second thing. Yeah.

Right...just remember that when the time comes. Spiritchaser. She'll love it. Or he will, fruitcake.
