Already posted in the Mezmerize thread, but since that's a Mezmerize thread, I'll post this here:

SYSTEM OF A DOWN - VICINITY OF OBSCENITY

This song is fucking insane!

I don't think it's better than Mezmerize. I just think we knew what to expect this time around. Great album, though.

Hahaha. I know...it doesn't matter. I love the song either way.

I love what they did with "Soldier Side." I thought it was a stupid idea to have a full version of the intro to Mezmerize. It made no sense, but hearing the song I can't complain. It's different, heavier, more guitars, more orchestration. I don't even think the part on Mezmerize is even part of the full version, only lyrically. Great tune.

i'll remember their second and third albums favourably, though.. wtf are these people doing writing what's functionally a double album?

Holy shit man, that Vicinity of Obscenity song was just horrid. I never liked their old stuff either but from what I did hear it was heaps better than this crap.
