Sad.

Uli was truly a pioneer of neoclassical guitar, and his chops on the early Scorpions releases were pretty much unrivaled in the rock scene at the time. Also, his cover of the Four Seasons on his Sky Guitar is absolutely beautiful.

I don't think it's sad at all. The man owns a half a million dollar mansion, all he has to do is sell it and he is rich once again. If you play big with money you are going to have to deal with the consequences if you do not spend properly. Rich people going bankrupt is not the same as the average joe going bankrupt because he can't pay his mortgage. I bet Uli doesn't have a mortgage.
