i'm talking about the overall music tone. But hey i'm no expert I just judge with the few knowledge I have and my ears.
I don't know how to describe it but for lack of better terms The guitar sound seems to be on thes same level no matter what and lacks dynamics IMO. if you make a whole album with songs like that it would be extremly bland by the 3rd song. Some of the guitar work is great though I would just add some more variations and maybe some more improvised parts. Nothing really sticks out although it ain't bad either.

Reminds me of early Pat Benatar with the female vocalist although she tries too damn hard to sing good and comes out not so good.If she works on her voice she can be a damn good singer but now she needs some work.

There are a few things that need to be worked on,better riffs, better voice and better production although I understand that this is a demo.Work on those things and this could be some damn good rock reminiscent of the early 80's scene which I still listen too by the way.

Good luck with the band.

Just downloaded the song. Actually I didn't think it was that bad at all, on the contrary it shows promise. The vocals were mediocre, but since the singer is gone no reason commentating on that. Now more specifically : I liked the main chorus, melody lines etc. The frequent guitar leads are also a plus but they lack "fluidity". I'd like the melody in them to be more fluid and distinct (can't find a better way to express it without using a vocal example). The main problem with the song was that it was too lengthy for it's own sake. 5 minutes with one basic riff is just too much. If it was half that time it would sound much more interesting.

In any case, best of luck! You have something decent going here, it just needs a little work and "fine tuning".
