Same here, and it's still the best metalcore album I know. When Darkness Falls!

WE ARRRE REBOOOOOOOOOORN!

I don't know why people say the new vocalist's crap, he's alright. Their 1st album isn't bad either, it got re-released a while back.

i love all those bands, i would also add, Norma Jean, The Chariot, Bleeding Through, and Into The Moat. BTBAM and The Red Chord are probably my favorite bands this year, Clients and Alaska are suck sick cd's, i love metalcore! and the Alive Or Just Breathing is 120743801740134 times better than The End Of Heartache, and i love the End Of Heartache, so that says alot. The old vocals are sooo much better, better riffs, the music has a sence of urgency to it, i really get into that cd. Rise Inside is probably one of the greatest metalcore songs of all time ( its the last song on alive or just breathing) it has 2 chorus's and fuckin amazing breakdowns

Dead to Fall-Everything I touch falls to pieces.

The only decent metalcore album ever released. Thread over.

Dillinger, Lamb of God, and the Red Chord are not metalcore. Listen to any of these three alongside As I Lay Dying (the poster children for metalcore). I don't think its accurate to lump the three aforementioned bands in with that crap.

Well I realise that every band I'm about to mention has already been said, but I'll just say the ones that I enjoy.

Lamb of God
Shadow's Fall
Killswitch Engage
Trivium
Dillenger Escape Plan (if you can consider them metalcore)
Avenged Sevenfold (again, if you consider them metalcore)

Metalcore I particularly hate above other metalcore:
As I lay dying
God forbid
Atreyu

the Chariot
Norma Jean
Misery Signals
The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Unearth
August Burns Red
Evergreen Terrace

and i personaly love As I Lay Dying. Breakdowns are good, thats why i love metalcore. I love the breakdowns.

Oh, I like that metalcore band that doesn't sound completely derivative and make up for bad songwriting by playing lowest common denominator breakdowns at illogical points in their "songs."

What was their name?

to revive a dead thread...

I just heard Thine Eyes Bleed (because they were signed to The End) and Isor (because my friend told me they were awesome), and shockingly enough both are quite good, although TEB have an originality problem

As Hope Dies

Band out of southern California that disbanded after releasing the debut album "Legions Bow to a Faceless God" Melodic Metalcore with almost BM type vocals.

A Thousand Falling Skies

Another band from New England that didn't get past a debut. Check out "The Wilting."

haha best lyrics ever! Yea I know they are pretty crappy. But in this bizzare way that is why I like them. I don't know, ever hear something so bad you liked it?

Glad to see I'm not the only person on earth that digs Atreyu. (Well actually I gave their CDs away when I found other bands, but still I don't mind the first album) And I did have a brief infatuation with Autumn to Ashes, I haven't heard them in a few years I should see if they have something new by now.
