What pairing of bands would you love to combine for one split release? This doesn't have to restricted to black and doom metal even though that's where the splits are, include anyone you like. 8)

First one that comes to mind is Forgotten Tomb + Nortt; that would be a deliciously depressive mix.. based on their past work listening to that split CD would be like being buried alive..

How about you?

A couble ones actually:

Nunslaughter/Kaamos

and if any of these would do a split together, I would be most happy:

Horna, Vitsaus, Noenum, Baptism & Bekhira

Irrelevant what size it would be (7", 10", 12"), as long as it was on vinyl!

EDIT: well... maybe not 7", those are too short.

I hate split albums, I never know how to file them away! And that makes my anal ass tempted to buy two copies so I can put one with each band! Hahahaha. Fuck that!

What about Burzum/Merzbow? Just for the fun juxtaposition of pronounciation..

In all seriousness, Lurker of Chalice/Catacombs should be fun.

Isn't this just like "who are your two fav bands?"?

it depends...

the way I posted it it's like what bands match each other enough as to make a split where one covers another... imo, that's the only way a split ep can be interesting...

Not all splits work. The bands need to "fit" each other.

Xasthur/Korn :P

In all seriousness, a Leviathan/Burzum split would rule.

I'd like to see another Sepultura/Overdose split.
