I've always liked Fear Factory. They were one of the 1st 6-7 metal bands which got me into metal. The other bands being Metallica, Maiden, Anthrax, Slayer, Sepultura, Bio Hazard & Pantera.

I have bought all their studio albums except for their 1st. At the time i wasnt ready for that type of really heavy metal.
I thought Achetype was something like a mix of Demanufacture and Digimortal and Slave Labor is easily one of their best ever songs, it hits you like a ton of bricks.

Just listened to Moment Of Impact and its pretty good. Half way through listening to Fahrenheit....and i'm not sure yet. I dont mind his high singing, but thats too high for my liking.

Saw their new video last night (Moment of Impact?). Anyway, the song and the video were fighting over who could suck more. It was a tie.

EDIT - I did use to like Fear Factory, though after hearing this tripe I doubt I ever will again.

I'll admit, that although i am a fan, after hearing about 4-5 songs from their new album, i cant see myself buying it.
My metal tastes have changed since the early-mid 90's, i still like FF, but from their Demanufacture/Obselete/Digimortal era. Even though I bought Achetype, i could tell that my tastes were different that i wouldnt like anything else they'd bring out. I only liked about 4 songs from Achetype anyway (Slave Labor, Cyberwaste, Drones & Archetype)...the rest were average at best.
