I've been playing around with the idea of a trooper in enemies lines. That's what came out of it.

It might just be the armor, but his arms look too short, and his head too big. Other than that, it's beautiful, and I agree with PyroMan about it being a good game cover.

Now that you mentioned it, the arms do look a bit short. The head looks fine. It's probably because of the helmet.

Hmm, I think the arms look just fine. The gun is too little though, it has no balls on it.

The gun itself might not be that small, but it seems to be at an angle to the viewer that makes it look quite skinny.

Its a gun with a silencer, and yes in this angle it doesn't show well... I should have used a bigger artillery, I can correct this. Also I was thinking about adding some fire from angle coming close to the trooper. Maybe I'll do just that :).
Thanks for the comments everyone.

Oups ! I'm late on this one...
Well, I don't have any problem with the arms (lenght) or the head (size)...it's normal that it looks like that, because of the position. I think the character is all ok. I actually like the sky (red), the helicopters and the fact that there's a lot of yellow (especially at the bottom of the pic). The effect is good. Could fit great for a comic or game, but not metal booklet, I think. This kind of art is not as much my kind as the other ones, but looks great anyway, as usual. It's just that it's not my favourite one.

Ok here is a new version, I've added lots of details and fire (so maybe the image should be renamed Under Heavy Fire :), lol. Anyway, I like it more like this, more dramatic somehow. The gun's now a rifle and there are flying bodies around. C&C welcomed. Thanks. Saiyan

I suddenly have the urge to play some Halo.

....not b/c of the picture, just b/c I want to play Halo. Anyway, I like the second one better. Even though the gun is still at a messed up angle. Nice work though.

hmm.. something doesn't look quite right about the gun - it doesn't look like he's holding it (just sort of springs out of his hand webbing) and the angle doesn't seem to match the angle of his forearem. If he was running and swinging his arms likely his right arm would be bent a little more and the gun more forward.

Anywys, some cool armour design.
