Anyone besides me listen to this?
Bands like:
Grave Stompers (Funeral Suite as raw, filthy and necro as any Black Metal, but with bone rattling, galloping slap bass),
Os Catalepticos, The Spectres, Deadbolt ( soundtrack to the pulp-fiction life), Pagan Dead, Asmodeus, Amityville Horror, Numbskulls, Psycho Charger, The Hangmen, Hellbillys...
I've been listen to this sub-genre for a couple of years now, and it kicks mondo ass.
V.

I have never heard about it until you mentioned it in another thread.

Pagans Death is awesome, but I think they sound quite different to any other PB/HB band I have tried. I would label them Stoner Black Metal
Are there similar bands?
I didn't like the rest of the bands I have heard.

Is Tiger Army considered psycobilly? I was told they were. A friend of mine burned me various tracks by them and its actually not bad.

They are... if you liked them, you should check out some of the bands mentioned at the top, especially Grave Stompers - Funeral Suite, though they are all good in their own right .

The Pagan Dead or Pagans Death?
The Pagan Dead are a bit different than most of the other bands within the genre.
Os Catalepticos and Grave Stompers are better, IMO.

I meant Pagan Dead. Couldn't find any samples of the other bands but the intro to the Os Catalepticos site sounds promising.
