I have listened to very little Katatonia for a very long time now. So this is the first time in at least since Night Is The New Day that I have properly listened to them. I had listened to Dead End Kings but only once or twice and not at all afterwards. With all the recently dramatic turn of events for this group of musicians, I am not expecting a quality album, but so far, what I am hearing is certainly Katatonia with their immediately recognizable sound. The release was very decently priced, so I had no reason not to listened to it.

It is not as if there is not enough Slayer in my listening habits but this live recording which is not even listed on the Archives was available at my local music store, so I thought it would be a good idea to hear what the sound quality of the recording really is.
