That Agalloch is the best from your list. If you like it, you MUST try Woods Of Ypres - Against The Seasons (it's even better and does have better vocals both clean and raw. At least the clean ones don't sound like from a boyband...)

I've purchased their "Pursuit of the Sun, etc."-album some time ago, but I've bought so many albums last year and had so little time, that I only listened to it once.
From what I can remember it was pretty good. I also remember you writing on the forum that "Against the Seasons" is better.

I even have some CD's here on my shelf I've never listened to, aaaaaarrgggh, what to do?

Good good, how about listening to them :D

Doin' it now

Being the un-tr00 bastard that i am, i haven't heard the lp version yet, only the cd version (today), which only contains 8 tracks... So far i like it very much, and so far the track that caught my attention the most is "From the Most Devastated Lands"... ( think i will buy a recordplayer pretty soon since im moving out  )
Please continue your quest for more underground "ear candy"/goodies

Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness

I actually found this for $14.99 (CAD) at HMV - sometimes I will find a totally unexpected deal, like I did Xasthur for $17.99. Are they seriously not marking up those $27.99 CDs any more than this one?

Goddamn fucking CD started skipping, so I took it back and exchanged it for Red Harvest - Internal Punishment Program. Why does this always happen to me?

Oh, damn, you got the third worst Red Harvest CD.

It still rules, but the previous two are much, much better. Sick Transit Gloria Mundi especially. And there's no song on that CD as good as Absolut Dunkel: Heit.

As for why this always happens to you... um... bad karma for mocking Santa Claus?

Recently purchased: Pestilence: Consuming Impulse.

Now I just have to wait until I can listen to it without my head flaring with pain.

So it's a good place to start, then! What's pre-whatever-the-one-before-SickTransitGloriaMundi-is-called like?

Anyway, it was either that or Callisto, a Cult Of Luna rip-off, and I don't want to get tired of that genre too quickly.

As for Santa Claus...you're right, I'd better change him to that cool Mother Theresa pic I found.
