It has been a while since I last heard this. Much different from the two previously played recordings, but still profoundly emotive and provocative in scope.

Much absence from this recording allows a warm welcome to it.

Another release which has been intentionally played only sparingly to retain its novel-ness and intrigue. It's good to hear it once more.

Satyricon seems like a very fine idea. Satyr is at the deep-well and the youthful-spring of his creative energies here. A seem-less and authoritative emanation to follow forth.

An album of lasting quality. This release has a very unique place in my memory in that, I never completely forget about it.

It might not be very different from a lot of the other newer BAN releases, but I still find it to be very good.

Most definitely. And I think that it takes the Lovecraftian thematics to its extreme ends, with taste and sophistication. I do believe metal fans most of time have very unrealistic expectations that they themselves cannot meet.



Like fine wine aging ever-greater with the passage of time.

Going to have listen to BAN this week again. So many great and/or important albums, like the Memoria Vetusta trilogy, Ultimee Thule, and of course the undeniably influential The Work Which Transforms God.

Looking forward to reading any commentaries which you may have towards those albums! Blut Aus Nord are an extraordinary act with remarkable originality. Many thanks.
