A never-to-be repeated recording by one of rock's most valuable bands and certainly one of the most endeared. My great affection for Rush shall never subside.

The beloved Dio, maestro Blackmore and the rest of the multi-talented Rainbow.

Blacker than most BM and heavier than most metal in its general scope. The charisma of this album and its occult conceptions is so appropriately captured, apparent in the riffs, in all the subtle arrangements and the ways in which the riffs are executed, remaining a formidable debut for any time to come. A black sabbath indeed.

How can four people create such fantastically powerful music? My apologies, four gods. There, a lot more sense now. I thought I would never be able to make sense out of it.

An all-time favourite. The way these earlier Purple recordings sound and the way they are produced is so affirming to the spirit of classic rock, and that is: lush-sounding, warm-sounding, spacious, instruments all in service of one another, with no one crossing their limits, and everyone sounding in harmony with each other. Ironic, because Deep Purple as a band never really got along very well at all, in their personal lives, separate from recording time. But boy, does this album sound phenomenal!

Rush the progressive. Yes, Rush the marvelous.

I am simply replaying the selected classics from the past few pages. Tool is in the order of playing, sometime in the evening, alongside with some heavier measures. Hope everyone's well.
