I really dig Venom- Resurrection. Has great guitar playing and great production and is good all the way through.

It's not Welcome To Hell, but it's good, I agree. In thought it was step up from Cast In Stone. They always deserved a proper drummer. Abaddon was always the weak link

Yeah. Welcome to Hell is their best.

Nah. Black Metal blows Welcome to Hell out of the water. The songs are better, the production less chaotic and was a vast improvement in the band's musical chops. Pretty much every song rips like a bastard.

Resurrection was a solid album but it doesn't ever kick the speed into overdrive like their earlier albums. Too much mid-tempo chug and not enough thrash for my liking.
