Human runs a close second but SBG remains my favorite Death record. Brutal, thrashing riffage that never relents, Chuck's vocals at their vicious guttural best and production perfectly suiting the raw, primal nature of the album. In short, death metal perfection. Zombie Ritual and Denial of Life still easily wreck necks at a thousand yards away.

Solid live album from the Finnish power metallers. Even though it culls songs from the band's first four (and best) albums, the lack of Wolf and Raven is puzzling. Still, the band is in fine form belting out their gloriously upbeat anthems to an energetic Japanese crowd that stays with them from beginning to end. Should make for fine Christmas music later this year.
