I need more time with their latest, it's much cleaner and less death-metally than the previous two albums which are the ones I'm used to! I like what I've heard of it so far though. I'll see about a review, have less time to spend on writing these days so not getting to everything I'd like to; been considering giving it up altogether to be honest, although I don't think that day's arrived just yet.


Formulas of Death is really good. Not sure how their other two albums can match that sweeping grandeur since the track lengths are so much shorter for those two, but I suppose I should listen to them regardless.

It's pretty good. Nothing spectacular but if you like black metal a lot it's worth listening to.

Pretty meh after one listen. Album of the Year was a terrific, underrated send-off for them, nothing here a good reason for them getting back together that I can see. Will persevere in case it turns out to be as much of a grower as Angel Dust, but...
