Their best mid-period record in my opinion.

Hm, I dig slower Overkill. Hadn't really appreciated Blitz's voice before, he'd be great on a doom album. Get Wino on the phone...

Now:

Need to go and see this again...

I recently bought their latest output and fell in love with it. It's been a very long time since I've took a liking to an album so intensely. I haven't heard that particular record, as it sold out on Amazon. How does this record compare to their latest one? You should definitely review it!

I need more time with their latest, it's much cleaner and less death-metally than the previous two albums which are the ones I'm used to! I like what I've heard of it so far though. I'll see about a review, have less time to spend on writing these days so not getting to everything I'd like to; been considering giving it up altogether to be honest, although I don't think that day's arrived just yet.

No! Don't give up reviewing! You and Charles are my favourite reviewers! However, sometimes life calls for more serious affairs. The new Tribulation sounds like a combination of the great Swedes. Opeth, Dissection, Watain.

On a different note, I've also been much impressed with the new Melechesh. Sounds fresh and inventive. Progressive. It appears all greats are turning progressive and more creative with riff-producing. God I love metal.

Thank you, it's good to be appreciated! TBH I doubt I will be giving up, I've managed so far to combine reviewing with everything else, which this weekend included my final university essay, which I finished this morning. Spent most of the afternoon since writing reviews, and am finishing my second; it's definitely in the blood! As you say, I love metal. Whatever else I listen to, nothing else is as comforting and enjoyable. And yes, that Melechesh is sure to be on my year-end list, excellent album.

This was the only Ozzy Sabbath album I ignored for the longest time, thinking it was no good because Never Say Die! is kinda weak, but man was I wrong. Classic album. Gypsy is a cool tune as is It's Alright. Maybe it's me getting mellower with age, but the I dig the softer tunes on this album.

Yep, no taking anything from the classic Ozzy and Dio albums but I enjoyed this more than I thought I would have done.

^I really love Warp Zone, but never checked that album out. Almost thought it was an entirely new one from them and flipped my shit. Also, how was that Prurient album?

Don't hate it.

Sadly not, at the very least not while Mongrain is busy with Voivod. It's a good album, need to hear Warp Zone again before I declare it better than that though.

The Prurient disappointed me after all the hype. Noise/ambient done well, but nothing incredible I'd say.

Need to hear that new PL...

Impressed with this after being rather not enthused by their last album.
