Taking a few semesters off to work and save money. I am determined to save up a lot so I can put down a payment for a condo, two years from now. School is getting extremely boring and lifeless. I need to return to real life, and likely, stay there.

On loud motorcycles: I hate them. I hate people talking loudly on their cell phones or loudly together. I find it ill-mannered and rude. Uncivilized.

Bored…tired of waiting…wanna go back to the Underworld. Or Sirius or Orion…Getting miserable waiting around for my wife to find me. She promised she would thou…I hope I don't have to wait until I die :(

This is just her making me understand how hard it was on her years ago when she had to put up with it.

I don't know how to feel today. I'm just glad there's only 50 more years of this nonsense left at best. It could be worse. We could live to be 250,000 years old, then my situation would be really painful. I'll just sing to her and draw pictures of her until I die. She fooled me into singing to her for 10 years so I could get that message back to home and I agreed to it. Didn't know how tough a little vacation away from Aset would be…next we go back to Egypt to right some wrongs from the past, then we go home. Together for millions and millions of years where the Gods adoreth us.

I feel bad for the people that have no idea what Earth is for or about though. I can't say I was happier not knowing. I wasn't, but there was less pain.

Friday the 27th will be my last day at work, marking 1 year and 9 months spent in Brazil and 6 months in Paris with this company. My first real job after a bunch of internships...

On the first week of March I'm leaving São Paulo to do something I've had on my mind for a while now: 4 months of backpacking across South America! Can't wait! Vague plan:
- March: Southern Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina
- April: Chile, Bolivia and Peru
- May: Ecuador, Colombia and Costa Rica
- June: either back to Brazil for Bahia and Rio de Janeiro states, or forget that and extend time spent in the other countries before coming back to São Paulo to pack up all my shit and go back to the real world and my family in Portugal.

Leaning more towards the latter at the moment, Bahia has (relatively) cheap flights from Portugal, and while I'd love to get to know RJ state, I've already been to the city itself 4 times and will be happy to come back at any other time in my life

omg omg omg. I'll be travelling alone too, which admittedly scares me a bit, but I think it'll do me some good too. It won't always be that way, I have friends in some of the places along the way, and there's couchsurfing and people at hostels and stuff. In 2010 I spent a month on the road in Mexico with a friend, but this looks like it'll be a bit more hardcore.

Funny story, one of my best friends had planned a 2 YEAR around-the-world trip starting in San Francisco, we were supposed to join up for the South American leg of journey trip but in May, not even 3 months into his trip, he fell in love with a girl in Mexico City and has since stayed there. lol.

so yeah excited yay

housesitting for a prof for reading break and he has the Totem tower speakers i've dreamed of having and i am so jealous

wife also came to montreal 2 weeks ago and buying dishes/looking for furniture together fills me with lots of happy feelings.

we were playing pool the other night and couldn't think of anything to bet against each other :(, money is shared and we didn't want to think of making breakfast as a losing thing

How do I feel? Manic depressive bordering on suicidal, not that I want to bore anyone with a longwinded post so long story short: been kicked out of my degree, can't get a job, still live at home with parents who hate each other, realised I've gone 24 years without really living a day in my life, oh and to top it off best case scenario my shitty eyesight will hold out another two years.

Shit that sounds rough man, i feel your pain brother. I am none to happy about the way my life has turned out either. I'm rarely suicidal though i have had similar thoughts when my tinnitus is at it's worst. I don't think i could through with it however as i'm much to cowardly to do that and it would crush my mother and my family in general. I'm sorry to hear that your eyesight could soon be gone, that's gotta be really shitty and tough to deal with. What's wrong with your eyes if i may ask? Take care and try to keep your spirits up

It's a degenerative condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa. Basically my field of vision is shrinking and will eventually lead to total vision loss. It's to the stage now where they can't accurately measure how little peripheral vision I have (it's that low) and my accident last year seems to have accelerated the process somehow.

Last week was absolutely brutal in close to the worst way possible for me. Starting to feel a little more like myself though so it would seem I've managed to avoid a third bout with clinical depression.

I hope you feel better man! I've been struggling with depression for the past year or so. (I'm diagnosed with bi-polar/schizoaffective.) They have me on a lot of meds for that shit right now and it's really tiring me out and making me sleep a lot and overall feel pretty down.

Depression really is one of the most horrible of illnesses. I've struggled with it twice (2010 to early 2012 and early 2013 to mid late last year).

I recieved fantastic news from an old contact of mine today. One of Australia's largest law firms will be moving to my home town and there's going to be several secreterial and administrative jobs on offer. No harm in applying, and if I get a position it sets me up for later on, when I return to and finish my degree well they're more likely to take on a junior solicitor or barrister whose already been at the firm in a different role and knows how things are done there.

Okay I guess. Singing is getting better after I had to take some time off.

The trick to singing is to ask your wife from your former life Selket to help you out since she is the opener of the throat and all.

Nasal Steroids also help out.

Hanging out with my Dad, which Arjen helped to organize I guess you could say. I also got to meet my Dad from my former life too, which is awesome.

I have gathered that I am on this planet again because they want to see what is going on here before they return and all.

Excited as it's my girlfriend's 21st on Saturday so plenty of fun to be had there. Annoyed that my plans for tandem road cycling nationals are in turmoil right now. Worried that my glutes and hamstrings are sore as hell and very tight even after stretching them.

Had my wisdom teeth extracted so that sucks. Really failing to get schoolwork done so that sucks. Applying to adjunct next fall so that sucks.

Been working for almost three months now. Don't want to do it for too long but need the money as well. Thinking I might get a better job with commission where I can dress up nicely and work without grease and smell. However, it's definitely a big advantage working for someone whom I've known for a long time. It makes a big difference.

As if I needed more proof that all children are assholes. Here I am enjoying a nice walk around the lake when I'm stopped by a pair of no-older-then-12 year olds. The little pricks (no doubt assuming that because I have a guide dog I must be completely blind) decide to start throwing shit at me. The look on their faces when I caught the rock they had thrown at my dog was amusing. Hearing their mother tear into them so hard they started crying was priceless.

God my life fucking suck right now. I've had a cavity in my tooth that i've forgotten about that i was supposed to take care of and now the little fucker is REALLY infected and my nerves feel like they are on fire. Jesus it hurts. Painkillers are barely making a dent in the pain which pisses me right the fuck off Thankfully my dentist has an opening tomorrow and hopefully i can get something for the pain and some antibiotics to kill the infection. After that i'll probably have to do a root canal procedure or pull the tooth out, we'll have to see. ARGHHHH THE PAIN IS DRIVING ME FUCKING INSANE.
