I'd give it a 75/100.

It's good, but not great.

Personally, I really liked this one. The guitars are less chaotic than the last few efforts, the melodic passages add some much needed texture to the music and Nergal is in fine voice after his bout with leukemia. Don't get me wrong, I love the crushing brutality that is Behemoth's sound but this was a welcome change of pace.

Welcome back! This album is a real grower; with each and every replay, I have liked the album a bit more, which, says a lot about what the album holds in terms of quality in future repeated plays.

This album has aged well since it was released. I have come back to this album after a couple of months and I like it more than once hearing a few months back. Definitely not a 70. My Rating is in the mid 80's.

Finally listened to this. Giving it a score closer to Goat's than Jared's. Quite like it.

I still can't get into this album as much as everyone else has. Its good, but it feels overrated. Satanica will always be my all-time favorite of their's.

I loved it. I like them going this route of epic maybe death metal stuff a la Alas, Lord is Upon Me and Lucifer off of Evangelion.

This albums sounds like Negal has finally found a sound fitting to his ideologies. Ritualistic, epic, and truly dark without the fanatical over-layering of vocalizations and also the over produced major chord riffs department. It's tight, stripped down, and very confident. It sounds emotionally the maturist of all his previous efforts. Stellar stuff. My rating: 88.

Spot on, dude. This is definitely the band's most satisfying release in quite some time. Now the question becomes, "Will Nergal be able to match, or even exceed, it's quality on the next record?"

I'm very optimistic that Nergal will push boundaries and exceed this effort. This albums has such an organic feel that no other album in the past was able to achieve. The french horn is a gorgeous and most sophisticated touch.
