The singles have all been solid albeit wacky. Will wait anxiously.

My idea for this album was to let go of the force, in a way, without the skill and without the experience, but create directly from the source like we did in the early days with Emperor. We had no experience, we weren’t really skilled at what we were doing, but the conviction and the passion were really strong and we built on top of that. I think I wanted to get back to that way of creating, and, to put it bluntly, to make a pure black metal feeling album by totally different means.

Album is killer. The experimental vibe to it all makes it rather intriguing. Unlike Eremita, it should age well insofar as it is gripping. Each track does something unique and has its own nuances. It is getting bashed for lacking coherence, but I think as art it is rather layered and complex in a way that makes each listen in an adventure. Challenging stuff, but solid.

Great to hear. Looking forward to hearing this album upon its release.
