What can I say, I like me some Testament. I did bother to mention it's not as good as their other stuff and some people think it's boring.

I likes me some Testament too, at times. But this is the farthest album from my grasp when the brain wants Testament. Give me some Legacy and call me in the morning.

Yeah, never even checked this out. Low was decent, but I thought that was where I should stop with their mid-period stuff.

Good review of an album I remember buying when it came out. I actually feel the exact same way about this album. Testament would really have to blow it to sound bad or make a bad album. This isn't the best album in the world, but it has some pretty cool stuff on it. Their last three have been incredible though.

It's funny cause even though all the right ingredients seem to be there, I never could get into this album and indeed sold it.

For the most part boring and pointless with some good songs in the mix. Unfortunately I found Low to be very similar.

I'll have to go against the tide here. I enjoy this album. Not saying it is exceptional, but I like it. As for there being no solos, maybe I have to listen to this album again. It's been a long time, but as far as I remember, there were some short ones.

I like this album more now than I did when it came out, but it's still my least favorite. "Hatreds Rise" is a kick-ass song, though. Of course, it's totally out of place on this album.
