Aah! Lock up, cheesy but :dio: .

Watched Skyfall. It was alright, but they try too hard to make it something more.

The funniest part of The Dictator was when I took my brothe to see it and there was only 4 of us in the theatre.

Bruno and Borat are good though. Never laughed so hard at the movies like I did when I saw Borat for the first time.

I know that Rum Diary isn't Fear and Loathing, but since that's the case there's no point in it. A decent book was stripped down and made digestible. all of the nuance and character of it was sucked out. Kemp is emptied of what made him likeable and made into Depp's F&L persona minus the hijinks. he comes off as read and insightful but for no reason.

The Shining and Halloween 2 (original)

My brother, only 15, hasn't seen either so we watched them.

Killing Them Softly.
Loved it. I really miss this kind of movies. The characters, the dialogues and the whole mood in it are great.
One of the few newer movies I'm fully satisfied with.

Seven Psychopaths
Cool one. Christopher Walken and Woody Harrelson are really good and Rockwell rocks as usual. Liked In Bruges so I like this one also, but not as much though.

Judge Dredd

Fifteen years in the academy.
He's like no cadet they've ever seen.

A man so hard his veins bleed ice.
When he speaks, he nevers says it twice.

They call him Judge, his last name is Dredd.
So break the law and you wind up dead.

Truth and justice are what's he's fighting for.
Jude Dredd the man, he is the law.

With gun and bike he rules the streets.
Every perp he meets will taste defeat.

Not even death will overcome his might.
Dredd and Anderson won the fight.

When the Sovs started the Apocalypse war,
Mega City was bombed to the floor.

Dredd resisted and the judges fought back.
Crushed the Sovs with their counterattack.

Respect the badge!
He earned it with his blood.
Fear the gun!
Your sentence may be death, because...

I AM THE LAW!!
You won't fuck around no more.
I AM THE LAW!!
I judge the rich, I judge the poor.
I AM THE LAW!!
Commit a crime and I'll lock the door.
I AM THE LAW!!
Because in Mega City...
I AM THE LAW!!

In the cursed earth
Where mutants dwell
There is no law
Just a living hell

Anarchy and chaos
As the blood runs red
This would change
If it were up to Dredd

The book of law
Is the bible to him
Any crime committed
Is a sin

He keeps peace
With his law-giver
Judge, jury, and executioner.

Saw Adam Sandlers new movie That's My Boy... the first few minutes it looked like shit... then suddenly, it turned into one of the funniest movies I have seen in a LONG time. Fucking hilarious. Highly recommended.

Les Miserables - I'm a huge fan of the musical and there's stuff that other singers have done better than these dudes, but overall I liked it a lot.

I've seen it yesterday. Also loved it. Waltz is a genius and DiCaprio, who I don't really like all that much, is awesome here too. Only downfall is that rap crap song or two which Tarantino apparently thought would work, BIG NO NO!!!

Fucking +1, it was his best since the Kill Bills. Samuel was also seriously funny in this as well. Strong performances all around really.

Have you not seen Blood Diamond? The Departed? Inception? Shutter Island? And you don't like DiCaprio? Somebody needs to get over the Titanic.

Seriously. It's a band aid that needs to be pulled off. Catch Me if You Can was where I lost mine.

Saw Django. Easily, the best Tarantino film in my book. For serious. It opens up a lot of issues, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It got me hook, line and sinker when I realized that I was laughing at the n-word jokes. And to who is bitching about the rap songs, stfu. Those were awesome.

Shit I forgot Catch Me If You Can, excellent movie, he was great there. Shutter Island also. But in these other movies not so much, just my opinion of course. I mean they're good movies and all ( even Departed, although 10 times weaker than Infernal Affairs :dio: ) but DiCaprio is probaly the weakest link in those.

As for Django, I liked it a lot but it's nowhere near masterpieces like R.Dogs, P.Fiction or I.Bastards.

DiCaprio was far from the weakest link in The Departed.

To each his own I guess, your own just sucks.
