I've had this one for 18 months, one before that died of red ring syndrome, one before that the tray wouldn't close and the one before that died of water damage when the house flooded

Having enjoyed Pokemon Black and White, Black and White 2 is rather lame after two gyms.

I think you're suppose to space out your playing of those games. Would be a little overkill if you just kept playing them back to back.

I played White during the summer. I figured a few months would have been enough space. Apparently not.

I played, beat, and thoroughly enjoyed LeafGreen over the summer, want to start HeartGold or SoulSilver, but am still gonna wait a while before I do.

You were telling me about a hacked version of those games with all the Pokemon and other goodies packed into one game. I downloaded it but can't get it to work. Freezes on me every time I try to leave the second town. Largely the reason why I haven't touched a Pokemon game since.

That sucks. I played HeartGold right after I beat White and wanted nothing to do with it after a few days. It was definitely way too soon.

pokemon? now that takes me back, waaaaaaaaaay back, haven't played that in about ten years, right after I finished Gold, doubt I'd find it as entertaining now

anyway now playing Forza 4 and desperately trying to beat my mate's time on the Nurburgring driving the Nissan Silvia Club K's, I'm about half a second slower per lap, damn this is hard

Last night I stopped some prostitutes revolting against their pimp with a flamethrower, then massacred the homeless with a shotgun. I then beat wolves to death with a magic mace, and stole cheese from giants.

I also played Saints Row 2 and Skyrim.

Black Ops 2, thoughts?
Not really getting into to it yet, too many gadgets.
The realism seems to have gone out of it.

There was realism in CoD games before?

the original world war two era ones always seemed pretty genuine.

Never played the original, but I agree with CoD2. That was my first experience with the series, and I've only just stopped paying attention with Black Ops 2. I bought it, and have maybe invested about 2 hours into it.

You know what I mean, just not taken with this new one.
I'll give it some more time but it's not looking good.

I got bored with COD after putting a lot of time into MW3. Even tried going back and replaying MW2's campaign on the hardest difficulty, and had a far better time than I did with MW3. Doubt I'll bother with BO2 until the price comes down a lot...

Brought a few over the holidays, Mass Effect 3 and Far Cry 3 being the big names, but also found Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Shadows Of The Damned for cheap on eBay, looking forwards to 'em all.

Having a blast with FC3. Nothing like sneaking up on a guard station, all stealthy and with a cunning plan of backstabby action, before a strolling tiger drops in and competely fucks everything up in the best of ways...

I've heard so many good things about Far Cry 3. My brother got it for Christmas and I was watching him play a bit. Looks intense. He came across some base camp that had a bear in a cage. He lit the bear on fire then opened the cage and let the bear kill everything in site, spreading fire as it did so, before eventually dying. Was pretty fantastic.
