The riff is pretty cool, but other than that, I feel like many other power metal bands could make a song like this but even better. 5/10

well I could have done without the over-long easy listening music that started the song and frequented it, the heavier passages do a bit to redeem this but still not something I enjoyed listening to 3/10

Yeah, earlier someone suggested we start a few different, genre-based versions of this thread in order to avoid people having to rate genres they don't like or listen to, but everyone was enjoying the conflict, I think.

not so much enjoying the conflict more realising that doing that runs the risk of killing off most of the discussion, the people who have hissy fits over ratings like frenchman on the other page probably shouldn't post here if they don't want their pet bands criticised

besides there have been songs that get high ratings, i.e Satan 59's nice piece of black metal awesomeness

Seventh Avenue: Betrayal
I had never heard anything from this band and, though I'm not a big fan of Power Metal, I must admit this is pretty good, and not too fruity. 7/10
