Didn't even know there was a reunion show.
yeah. it was cool i guess. turns out that had the show continued it would been revealed that anara wouldnt get with mal because she was dying. she had a terminal illness. other than that it was just reminising or whatever.

Yeah, I think Joss Whedon has kind of a thing for killing off popular character for the "shock" factor or whatever. I remember in Season 1 of Angel (ah....high school) at the very beginning he introduced that character Doyle who was completely awesome, and then killed him off before the end of the season.

He later said he intended to do that all along. Kind of a dick move if you ask me. The show kind of lost me at that point.

Then obviously if you've seen Serenity,

****SPOILERS*****

you know he kills off a couple of crew members as well.

No one ever got killed off on Buffy, which given seven seasons would have made sense to do. Oh, Amber, but yeah no one else I can recall.

Shit. By Amber (actresses' name), I meant Tara. Hadn't watched the later seasons in forever. Speaking of which: http://waffle-meringue.tumblr.com/tagge ... sode-guide

Watching Workaholics, 5 episodes in. I like it.
What do you guys think of The Walking Dead season 3 so far?

Decent, not amazing. As always, zombie heavy episodes are great, but the baby business and the town aren't doing it for me. Shit will escalate once the two storylines converge and well, it'll erase all my complaints I hope.

Anya died!? I don't remember that. And those other characters totally don't matter. I meant no main characters. So Anya, Tara, Buffy's mom. It's not as if Xander or Willow got the axe. Or even Giles. Those would be upsetting and just to piss off the audience.

Well Jonathan wasn't a main character but he was a recurring one and almost a regular for the last two seasons. Anya dies in the series finale.

I read an Interview with Joss where he said he had
originally planned to kill of
Xander but finally decided he would get a serious injury
instead(eye). Thank god he didn't go through with the kill, Xander
is a key character IMO.

Kendra, does Drusilla die in Buffy or Angel I don't remember, Spike dies in the season seven finale, technically Buffy dies three times (season one finale by Master of Vampires, revived by Xander, season three episode which introduced Anya as a vengeance demon, killed by Master of Vampires in alrernate reality) season five finale, killed by herself to close the portal to Glory's dimension or whatever

I think it's borderline - watched much of it with my sister and both loved it.

Game of Thrones is the best show on tv, hands down. Even better if you read the books.

Makes Buffy look like a pile of puke that's been pissed on.

Every time Tyrion speaks, it's music to these ears.

It's campy horror a la Army of Darkness. It's jokes and good fun, but seriously the material that it operates with is dense. There is a whole discourse on social work in that last season that is crazy insightful.
