I would like to get people more involved with interviews. I enjoy doing them, and think that they tend to be overlooked. Part of that is because many of them tend to follow a basic formula (especially with new bands), but if done right a great deal can be learned.

On a side note, what other bands would people like to see interviewed? I think we could also focus more on hunting down interviews that readers request.

Interviews are a great way of knowing an artist in a very personal sense if they in fact tell the truth about themselves. I would like to see interviews with bands like Melechesh, Absu and Rotting Christ. Also, an interview with Ihsahn would be very nice.

The Ihsahn one would be pretty easy to get I think, if someone wanted to request it from the label. I personally don't know enough about him/his work to come up with an in depth interview, but I am sure there plenty on here who could.

Yeah I'm sure people here can come up with some reasonably in depth questions about what to ask of him. Maybe a thread can help pick out some questions and Zad can do the interview with him since he reviewed two albums from him. Or Charles.
