In a grumpy mood this morning, feeling more cheerful now. Yay for mood swings.

Anyway. Spent morning commute to work talking to a crying suicidal man. Hopefully I persuaded him not to jump in front of the next train ("they slow down too much as they enter the station, you'd be dragged along, it'd be a horrible way to go") and to talk to a professional. Saw him out of the station, he said he was going to a nearby chemists to get something after his girlfriend stabbed him (!). Really puts things in perspective, emoticons can't do it justice. What a strange and sad start to the day. Wishing I could have done more now, although what I'm not exactly sure...

Happened to me once, I was very aggressive and annoyed, basically told the guy to get a fucking grip. He thanked me, so maybe it worked, who knows.
Nowadays I just wouldn't know what to say. "Go ahead", probably?
